The SOLUTHERM™ OAT PG-25 Computer Coolant is a specialized corrosion inhibitor package crafted to safeguard metals like copper, brass, steel, cast iron, aluminum, and magnesium from corrosion and pump cavitation
Versatile across various applications—including computer cooling, HVAC systems, industrial machinery, marine environments, automotive engines, and heavy-duty equipment—SOLUTHERM™ OAT PG-25 delivers reliable, long-lasting performance with minimal inhibitor depletion over time.
SOLUTHERM™ OAT PG is a robust propylene glycol formulation for direct-to-chip cooling systems. PG 25 fluids have been shown to improve facility Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), increase computing density and decrease data centre footprint when compared with air-cooled systems.
SOLUTHERM™ OAT PG leverages a proprietary Organic Acid Technology inhibitor system that offers long-life corrosion protection for copper, brass, steel, cast iron, and aluminum alloys.
OAT PG offers great performance evident by modified industry standard ASTM D8040 test designed by Open Compute Project (OCP) for corrosion protection.
SOLUTHERM™ OAT PG is compatible* and well suited for systems which use HNBR, NBR, VMQ, FKM, EPDM, PP, rubbers/elastomers. Additional material compatibility information may be available upon request. OAT PG uses a propylene glycol-based formula, which is less toxic than traditional ethylene glycol-based HTFs.
When stored undercover in a properly sealed system away from moisture and direct sunlight, this product should be suitable for use for up to 8 years after manufacture. Do not use galvanized steel for pipes or any part of the storage and handling system.
The corrosion inhibitor package in OAT PG-25 Computer Coolant was designed for use with the following OEM and industrial specifications:
CoolIT 756-00003
