Applications

The OAT PG-25 Computer Coolants corrosion inhibitor package is designed to protect copper, brass, steel, cast iron, aluminum and magnesium from pump cavitation and corrosion in a wide variety of applications. These applications include but are not limited to computer cooling, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), industrial, marine, automotive and heavy duty on-road / off-road applications. In general, the proprietary formulation used in OAT PG-25 provides long life performance in that the inhibitor package depletes very little over time when used as designed.

The product is ready to use and requires no further dilution prior to use.

Performance Features and Benefits

• Up to 8 years in a computer coolant application when maintained with extender (booster) as per equipment manufacturer directions.
• Limited maintenance requirements.
• Product protects aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, cast iron, steel against corrosion and pump cavitation.
• Product is free of 2-EHA (2-ethylhexanoic acid), borate, nitrite, amine and silicate.
• Product will assist with high temperature corrosion protection of aluminum and is compatible with all aluminum radiators.
• Product is more environmentally acceptable through the use of lower toxicity materials and no heavy metals.
• Product inhibits the growth and proliferation of most microbes and fungi.

When stored undercover in a properly sealed system away from moisture and direct sunlight, this product should be suitable for use for up to 8 years after manufacture. Do not use galvanized steel for pipes or any part of the storage and handling system.
